We have received a report originating from the Brittonkill School District in Rensselaer County that a man and a woman were taking pictures of buses at dismissal yesterday. There were additional media reports this week from Rensselaer County schools of a couple approaching a child at an elementary playground after school, and a person coming to a high school during the day who attempted to enter through a door that was not the main entrance. There was a similar report from the Ballston Spa School District last week regarding someone taking pictures of school buses at dismissal.
These suspicious activities have been reported in a few local communities close to us recently. We should all be aware to report any suspicious activity and even if you are not sure, call 911. If you see something say something!
