Kristin Swinton-GIPA, CEO, 518-271-9397
Kristin Swinton serves as CEO of the Green Island Power Authority, a position she has held since 2008. She joined GIPA in December 2004 in a management capacity overseeing various aspects of the Authority’s operations and finances. Previously, she worked as a Legislative Analyst with the New York State Assembly’s Ways & Means Committee. Swinton served on the Board of Directors of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce. She earned a Master of Public Administration from the Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy in Albany where she was a member of the Pi Alpha National Honor Society. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Siena College in Loudonville.
