The Village of Green Island Planning Board will hold a virtual public hearing on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 6:10 p.m. via Zoom. The meeting can be viewed via “Live Stream” through the Village website – www.villageofgreenisland.com/village/planning-and-zoning-boards to consider the following requests:

• Request from Chuck Pafundi Jr., owners representative for South Island Apartments, LLC, 10 Starbuck Drive, Green Island, NY requesting a Special Use Permit on behalf of “Buds Coffee Shop” at 10 Starbuck Drive, Green Island, NY for a coffee shop. The property is part of a Planned Development District (PDD).
• Request from Chuck Pafundi Jr., owners representative for South Island Apartments, LLC, 10 Starbuck Drive, Green Island, NY requesting a Special Use Permit on behalf of “American Housing Foundation” at 10 Starbuck Drive, Green Island, NY for an office location. The property is part of a Planned Development District (PDD).
• Request from James D. Finning, owner of 4 Center Court, Green Island, NY granting authorization to Chuck Pafundi Jr., owners representative for Elite Marble & Stone, LLC, to request a Special Use Permit for prospective tenant, Elite Marble & Stone, LLC to occupy 7,200 sq. ft. of space for fabrication of stone countertops. The property is zoned Industrial (I).
• Request from Brian Neeld, VP Finance for National Convenience Distributors, owners of 111 Paine Street, Green Island, NY granting authorization to Old World Provisions, to request a Special Use Permit to construct and operate a commercial bakery within the building. The property is zoned Industrial (I).
