The Green Island Water Department will shut down water service to most of Green Island (everything south of Tibbits Avenue) and all of Maplewood on Thursday (tonight) starting at 11:30 p.m. The purpose of the shut down is replace a faulty valve at one of our main water sources. The shut down should last about three (3) hours and is expected to be restored by 2:30 a.m. on Friday. Please call the Water Department at 518-273-4959 with any questions or concerns.
