5/6:UPDATE: THE BUILDING HAS BEEN DEMOLISHED AND GEORGE STREET WILL BE CLOSED THROUGHOUT MOST OF FRIDAY WHILE CLEANUP EFFORTS CONTINUE.
5/5:Due to an emergency building demolition, George Street between Clinton and Market Streets is presently closed to all traffic in both directions. Vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be prohibited from entering the area and will be detoured toward Paine Street or Hudson Avenue.
