The Town of Green Island will be accepting tax payments for the 2018 Property Tax Bill on Friday December 29th from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. This is the first and only day in 2017 that the Town Office can legally accept payments for the 2018 County Property Taxes, although those mailed and postmarked before December 31st may be eligible as well.

Because tax bills will not have been received via the mail yet, we ask that you access your tax bill online at and print beforehand or call ahead at 518-273-0661 to obtain the exact amount of the bill. You will need property data in order to do so.

The 2018-2019 Village and School Tax Bill payments cannot be accepted in 2017, as their respective budgets are not be formulated until later in 2018.
