The New York State Public Service Commission has alerted us to a program which may be of benefit to some of you. The New York State Lifeline Discounted Telephone Service is an assistance program offered by many telephone providers, including some wireless and cable companies (Verizon and Time Warner Cable are participants), to help income-eligible consumers save money on their phone bills.
