UPDATE:There appears to be further issues that will prolong this outage. No timetable for return. We will keep you posted with any updates.
GIPA crews are on the scene and fixing a line knocked down by a fallen tree. They are also inspecting the rest of their system for damage. If this is the only issue, they are hopeful that power will be restored around 6am.
The wind associated with this storm was extreme. Property owners are advised to inspect your property for any damage.
