The Paine Street Park will be CLOSED Wednesday, November 2nd and Thursday, November 3rd for a construction project.
The Albany County Soil and Water Conservation District has awarded the Village of Green Island with Conservation Assistance Funding.
Contractors will remove the blacktop sidewalks throughout the park that no longer serve a purpose. Once the impervious surface areas are removed and disposed of, the area will be replaced with top soil and grass seed; ultimately creating more green space.
