The Green Island Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative Committee was formed to review policing policies, procedures, and programs within the Green Island Police Department. The committee met several times over the course of a few months. Through discussion and public input the committee has developed a plan to promote community engagement while fostering trust, fairness and legitimacy. The plan is now available for public review. The public may provide comment and ask questions using the forms on the Committee’s webpage. The public is also encouraged to participate in the Public Input Meeting to be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021, 6:00pm via Zoom. The meeting will be livestreamed.
