The Village of Green Island Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, September, 12, 2022 at 6:10 p.m. at the Green Island Municipal Center, 19 George Street, Green Island to consider the following requests:
• Request from Khalan O’Brien of JBH Properties, LLC, owner of 4 Center Court, Green Island requesting a Special Use Permit on behalf of prospective tenant, “Clozetivity” to utilize space to store material for a custom closet business. The property is zoned Industrial (I).
• Request from Dave Ahl, Chief Operating Officer for 100 Cohoes Ventures, LLC, owner of 100 Cohoes Avenue, Green Island, NY requesting a Special Use Permit for on behalf of prospective tenant, 2428392, Inc. AKA FYE (“FYE”) to lease a 120,000 square foot building which currently under construction at 100 Cohoes Avenue for a logistics facility. The property is zoned Industrial (I).
• Presentation by Luizzi Companies on the proposed Factory Town Project consisting of residential development to be sited on approximately 33 acres of land between the Hudson River and Cannon Street. The property is being considered for a Planned Development District (PDD).
