The Village of Green Island Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 6:10 p.m. at the Green Island Municipal Center, 19 George Street, Green Island to consider the following requests:

• Request from Khalan O’Brien of JBH Properties, LLC, owner of 4A Center Court, Green Island granting authorization to Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless to apply for land use approvals for a proposed telecommunications facility. The Planning Board will be provided an updated overview of the cell tower project from Attorney David Brennan, representing the applicant. The property is zoned Industrial (I).
• Request from Thomas Bethon, President of TFB Development Inc., owner of 23-D Lower Hudson Avenue, Green Island, NY requesting a Special Use Permit on behalf of prospective tenant, Mexican Market for a combination retail food market serving authentic Mexican food. The property is zoned Industrial.
• Request from Dave Ahl, Chief Operating Officer of Green Island Properties, LLC, owner of 70 Cohoes Avenue, Green Island, NY requesting a Special Use Permit for on behalf of prospective tenant, Ecovative Design, LLC to lease an additional 19,612 sf. for the purpose of producing mushroom packaging and a training center. The property is zoned Industrial.
