A major water break has occurred in the area of 4 George Street in the Village. This has resulted in the immediately emergency shut down of water service to anyone residing south of Lafayette Street on George Street and includes Lower Hudson Avenue, Albany Avenue, and all side streets in that area. Emergency crews are on the scene and hope to have this repaired in a few hours. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
