Please join with Village of Green Island officials and project engineers from Barton & Loguidice as they present the final design of the new Black Bridge Trail Project to the community for the first time. This meeting will be held on Monday, July 17th at 6:45 pm (after the Village Board meeting) at the Green Island Municipal Center, which is located at 19 George Street.
This project has been several years in the making and the final product will incorporate several ideas that were derived from a public meeting that was held in September of 2016 and during a public comment period held during the same timeframe. Residents and stakeholders are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting.
Contractor bids for the project will be opened on August 1st with the authorization of bid award expected to be on August 7th. Construction should be completed in Fall 2017.
