The Albany County League of Women Voters (LWV) is conducting a candidate forum for the 108 th Assembly District on Wednesday evening (October 24th) at 7pm at our own Heatly School. At this time it appears those attending will be Democratic candidate John McDonald and James Campbell (not the former Sheriff), candidate for the Libertarian Party. Please share this information with those you know as we would like a respectable crowd in the audience that evening for this rare occurrence of a candidate forum involving state level candidates in the Village. The debate will last no more than an hour according to the LWV. The LWV will be moderating and they will ask the audience PRIOR to the debate to submit questions of which they will review and decide what is put forward to the candidates.
