The Village of Green Island will be holding an Informational Session regarding the development of the Village, State and Federally Funded Black Bridge Connector Trail Project (PIN 1759.77), which will connect the Black Bridge Trail and Upper Cannon Street with a paved multi-use path. The purpose of this meeting is to gain public input, ideas, and comments for the development and eventual construction of this project scheduled for construction in early spring 2017. Proposed amenities of the project include a designated parking area, trailhead, informational/historical kiosks, benches, lighting, and bicycle racks.
People attending are encouraged to bring questions and ideas to the meeting where an open forum question and answer and discussion period will take place immediately following a short presentation.
Please click on links below for draft renderings of the proposed trail. Note that these are just for discussion purposes and your input is very much welcomed into the process.
If there are any special needs or access accommodations required for anyone, please let the Village know by contacting us by Friday, September 16th.
