PLANNING BOARD
The Village of Green Island Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 6:10 p.m. at the Green Island Municipal Center, 19 George Street, Green Island to consider the following request:
• Request from Adam Frosino, Project Manager on behalf of 25 Tibbits Avenue, LLC Development, property is 147 Cannon Street, Green Island, NY (the former R. Freedman/EMR Recycling site). They are requesting Site Plan modifications.
The modifications from the previously approved plans involve the construction of one individual facility in lieu of two (2) separate facilities. The single building footprint being proposed is 200,000 square feet, which is 50,000 square feet larger than the total amount of building footprint previously approved. All changes to the site plan are consistent with what was previously proposed, meeting or decreasing the impacts generated as part of the development. The property is zoned Industrial (I).
